Caring guidance for dementia journeys
Julie Anne-Dementia Nurse is where expertise meets empathy and empathy meets caring. As a registered nurse, I'm dedicated to advocating for people living with dementia and providing compassionate education and support to their families and caregivers. Let's navigate this journey together with understanding and hope.
Our services
Julie Anne offers specialized services tailored to support organizations, individuals, and families navigating the complexities of dementia care. From education and advocacy to personalized strategies, I'm here to help.

Education & training
Gain a deeper understanding of dementia with comprehensive hands on education and training programs designed for staff working in long term care, home health agencies and hospitals. There are programs for families, caregivers, and first responders as well. Prepare yourself with the knowledge you need to provide the best possible outcome.

Care strategy coaching
Develop personalized care strategies using the REACH (Resources for Enhancing Alzheimer's Caregiver Health) method, tailored to the unique needs of your loved one living with dementia. I will guide you through effective techniques and resources to reduce your stress and enhance both of your quality of lives.

Advocacy support
I am passionate about advocating for the rights and needs of people living with dementia. You will receive guidance and support to navigate the healthcare system and ensure your voices are heard. The best way to make sure this happens is to make end of life decisions while you still can, and to have them in a living will or advanced directive.

Empowering you through knowledge and support
Julie Anne Dementia Nurse, has a mission is to empower you with the knowledge, resources, and compassionate support you need to navigate the challenges of dementia care. Let's be partners on this journey. As Maya Angelou said, "When you know better, you do better."

I signed up for Julie Van Dyne's "Positive Approach to Care and Virtual Dementia Tour" in August 2025 because I see my parents and some neighbors struggling with early dementia. Her teaching was clear, tailored to our group's needs, and instantly useful. I think I can now better empathize with these elders in their difficulties and have specific moves I can make to help us have happier times together.
